Thank you for visiting the homepage of DongWoo Animation.DongWoo has started as small animation studio in 1991 that worked for realistic style of animations and over past 15 years has grown to be acknowledged as a worldwide animation production company and art creator. In the early years of our company when we had to rely on outsourcing work from Japan and America now that an original creative production was not so activated domestically.However our experience from working with overseas major studios who produced competitive animations with an innovative ideas by putting massive monies into animation to aim at big market was quite motivated and got us to learn the importance of creativity. which was the first Korean animated series broadcasted in Japan and which was the first animated series in Korean animation history to be broadcasted in China were the results from our efforts to contribute to the society by developing the good contents that our society needs to achieve. I can say it was a precious landmark for DongWoo to move toward the ultimate goal. As a result, our company was recognized and selected as one of "Top 10 Animation Production Houses" by 'Animation Magazine' in 2002. In terms of quality, we have now grown to develop and produce new animated TV series and theatrical feature film each year with our own production skill and fund. Also, last spring our short film entitled that depicts the hope out of famine and poverty in Africa held the spotlight by winning the grand prix at Tokyo International Anime Fair where Miyazaki Hayao used to be awarded the grand prix with .
